We are recruiting additional Learning Support Assistants to join our new state-of-the-art academy in Frindsbury, Strood. The successful candidates will work with students across the Academy and on a 1:1 basis to ensure that students’ needs do not become a barrier to learning and progress.
Our Learning Support Assistants will need to understand individual students’ needs and collaborate with subject teachers to develop appropriate learning programmes. Support will include in-class assistance and targeted interventions, which may involve small group work.
Experience working with primary or secondary-aged children, along with the ability to raise aspirations and motivate children, will be beneficial. A passion for making a positive impact on children’s outcomes and high expectations for their emotional, social, and mental health development are essential. Excellent interpersonal skills and good ICT knowledge are also required.
This role is initially offered as a fixed-term contract, working on a 1:1 basis with students with a high level of SEND.
