Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer
Salary: £35k-£40k basic with OTE £60k-80k uncapped, fully expensed company car, mobile, laptop and 25 days annual leave.
Location: Yorkshire, covering the North East of England territory. Work from home when not out visiting clients.
Position Overview
A genuine opportunity for an Area Sales Manager/Industrial Weighing Equipment Sales Manager at a leading weighbridge and weighbridge systems manufacturer. This role involves field based sales promoting and selling a full range of weighing equipment across manufacturing, logistics, engineering, chemical, food and recycling industries in the Southwest of England and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
* Field based sales to promote and sell the company's full range of weighing equipment.
* Manage own diary, book appointments, and visit clients.
* Manage and grow existing client accounts and develop dormant and new business opportunities across all industrial sectors.
* Specify systems and solutions from simple to complex, leveraging technical competence.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years of Field Sales, Area Sales Manager or Territory Sales Manager experience.
* Relevancy engineering and commercial qualifications; proven track record in sales.
* Self‑motivated, target driven with consistent sales target achievement.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships at all levels.
* Ability to manage sales territory with minimum supervision.
