We’re looking for an experienced and strategic Manager, Learning & Development (WA) to lead the development and delivery of learning and capability programs across our Western Australian operations. This role is based out of our Karingal Green facility in High Wycombe. Your role Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, this role leads the Learning & Development function in WA, providing strategic and operational oversight of education, training and capability development across our residential aged care homes. You’ll lead a WA‑based L&D team and work closely with Quality, Clinical and operational leaders, as well as education teams on the east coast, to harmonise learning programs and drive continuous improvement. This is a pivotal leadership role with a strong balance of strategy, stakeholder engagement and hands‑on delivery, offering the opportunity to make a genuine impact on workforce capability and quality of care outcomes. Key responsibilities Leading the development, implementation and evaluation of the WA Learning & Development strategy and annual plans Managing and supporting the WA L&D team, providing leadership, direction and coaching Designing, delivering and continuously improving education and training programs for clinical, care and corporate staff Partnering with Quality, Clinical and operational leaders to ensure learning programs align with regulatory, accreditation and organisational requirements Identifying opportunities to harmonise learning programs across WA and east coast operations Managing learning projects and initiatives, including change management activities Building and maintaining effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external education providers Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, professional standards and organisational policies Preparing reports and updates on L&D activities, outcomes and performance Contributing to organisational strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives What you’ll bring Relevant tertiary or certificate qualifications in learning, education, or training Demonstrated experience leading learning and development programs, preferably within aged care, health or a similar regulated environment Experience delivering education and training to adult learners A background in nursing, while not essential, is desirable Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and communication skills Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes in a complex environment Sound understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements (aged care experience desirable but not essential) National Police Clearance (within past 6 months) 2026 Influenza Vaccination Full working rights in Australia What we offer Our people are integral to achieving our vision of being a leading aged care provider in Australia.
