Who are you?
* Experience working with children, ideally within an educational or SEND setting.
* Have a good understanding of child development and experience of supporting young children in a school or pre-school setting (essential)
* Have a good sense of humour!
* Have knowledge of alternative communication strategies such as PECS and Makaton
* Able to demonstrate an ability to nurture children in accordance with their individual emotional, social and learning needs
* Excellent behaviour management skill
* Able to provide written and verbal feedback to the class teacher as required
* understands confidentiality and safeguarding procedures
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 support to your assigned child in delivering lesson content and facilitating learning inside and outside the classroom.
* Follow any specific intervention and support programmes for your assigned child.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
* Support children s social and emotional development, encouraging confidence and independence.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to implement personalised support plans.
* Promote positive behaviour and well-being through encouragement and structured support.
