Overview
MSL is looking for a Client Services / Project Delivery Director to join our senior leadership team. This is a pivotal leadership role. You will own and nurture our relationship with a key retained client, overseeing their year-round programme of experiential events. You'll balance strategic planning with hands-on leadership, driving continuous process improvement while coaching, inspiring, and developing your project team to deliver exceptional results.
Your work will shape client outcomes, team performance, and MSL's growth.
Responsibilities
* Own and nurture a high-value client relationship, acting as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders.
* Lead and deliver a year-round programme of experiential events with full operational, creative, and financial accountability.
* Drive strategic growth, continuous improvement, and process optimisation across projects and teams.
* Inspire, coach, and develop the project team, ensuring alignment with programme objectives and fostering high performance.
* Conceive, pitch, and implement new event concepts, ensuring timely client approvals and commercial success.
* Prepare and report on programme performance, budgets, KPIs, and insights to the client and senior leadership.
* Support business growth through RFP responses, pitches, and strategic project contributions.
Experience
* At least 10 years' experience in senior client account management, ideally in events or experiential marketing.
* Hands-on experience delivering complex experiential programmes, with accountability for people, processes, budgets, and operational delivery.
* Exceptional leadership and team development skills, able to mentor, motivate, and inspire multi-skilled teams.
* Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen, translating client vision into actionable plans and business impact.
* Experience in process ownership and continuous improvement, with a kaizen mindset to optimise workflows and raise standards.
* Proven stakeholder management skills, able to influence senior clients, internal teams, and external partners professionally.
* Highly organised, results-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
