About Us
Fordingbridge is a small town (population approximately 6,300) on the edge of the New Forest, at the junction of the Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire borders. The town is built beside the river Avon and attracts holidaymakers, fishermen and walkers. The Practice is semi-rural, covering an area of more than 100 square kilometres, including the small downland villages to the north, the New Forest villages and the larger village of Alderholt in Dorset.
Local facilities are good and the surrounding countryside offers great scope for various leisure activities. Salisbury is our nearest city but Bournemouth and Southampton are also close, the sea is only 30 minutes away by car and London can be reached in 1 hour on the train. The town is well known for its excellent schooling, many people moving here specifically to be in the catchment area for the village schools and The Burgate School (comprehensive).
