 
        
        Senior Clinical Videographer
Band 6 – 22.5 hours per week – Pay: £38,682 – £46,580 pro rata.
Overview
Senior Clinical Videographer will work within the Clinical Photography & Medical Illustration Service at Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust’s Oxford Road campus. The role supports the main hospital sites, external customers such as universities, law enforcement agencies, and local councils.
Responsibilities
 * Produce, edit, and deliver high‑quality clinical video content in both clinical and non‑clinical settings.
 * Work with mirrorless cameras, gimbals, and motion‑graphics tools to create compelling visual material.
 * Collaborate with junior staff and trainees, providing guidance and mentorship.
 * Synchronise with multiple stakeholders to meet production deadlines and maintain quality standards.
 * Maintain and update video equipment and software in line with best practice.
Qualifications
 * Recognised film or multimedia qualification (BA/Hons or BSc/Hons).
 * Substantial experience in video production, including scripting, story‑boarding, filming, sound capture, and editing with industry‑standard software.
 * Proficiency with mirrorless cameras and motion‑graphics tools; experience with gimbals is advantageous.
 * Demonstrated willingness to up‑skill in new areas and adapt to changing technology.
 * Strong communication, self‑motivation, discipline, collaboration and mentoring skills.
 * Portfolio of recent video work must be supplied with the application.
