We are currently working with a number of primary schools across the Wirral who are looking for enthusiastic and nurturing EYFS Teachers to support their Nursery and Reception classes.

What We’re Looking For
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
7. Experience within EYFS
8. Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework

Job Specification
An EYFS Teacher works in day nurseries and also nursery or reception classes in infant or primary schools.
The development areas typically covered by EYFS teachers include:
16. Personal, social and emotional development

20. Understanding the world
21. Physical development
22. Expressive arts and design.
As an EYFS teacher you’ll be expected to:
23. Hold QTS status
24. Teach all areas of the Early Years Statutory Framework
25. Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a safe and positive teaching environment
26. Plan and prepare activities that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within their class
27. Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation;
28. Maintain discipline
29. Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
30. Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, and supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
31. Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
32. Take part in school events and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening
33. Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly in smaller schools and day-nurseries.
