JOB TITLE:Accounts Administrator
JOB SUMMARY:
The Accounts Administrator will be responsible forsupporting the Accounts Department in ensuring the prompt andefficient processing of all transactions. This role requirescontact with internal and external sources throughout the day.
Previous experience in finance is an advantage buttraining will be given.
The role would suitan individual seeking a career path in Legal Accounting and offersa training package.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supporting the Accounts Department in ensuring the prompt andefficient processing of all transactions in accordance withinternal control(s) the SRA Solicitors Accounts Rules and the Firms current AML Policy
Contacting/liaising with internaland external sources throughout the day
Assisting withthe preparation of financial reports
Assisting with thepreparation of VAT returns
Assisting with thepreparation of annual accounts
Assisting with thepreparation of management accounts
Assisting with thepreparation of budgets and forecasts
Assisting with thepreparation of cash flow forecasts
Assisting with thepreparation of payroll
Assisting with the preparationof pension contributions
Assisting with the preparationof tax returns
Assisting with the preparation of auditfiles
Assisting with the preparation of client bills
Assisting with the preparation of client ledgers
Assisting with the preparation of bank reconciliations
Assisting with the preparation of petty cashreconciliations
Assisting with the preparation ofcredit card reconciliations
Assisting with thepreparation of supplier payments
Assisting with thepreparation of client payments
Assisting with thepreparation of ad hoc reports
