Internal Sales Support

Location: Ascot (Office-based, Monday–Friday, 9:00–17:30)
Salary: Competitive + excellent benefits

The Company

Our client is a leading IT hardware manufacturer and is looking to add an Internal Sales Support professional to their growing team.

The Role

In this role, you’ll support the Sales and Marketing teams by managing inbound enquiries, assisting with outbound prospecting activity, and ensuring leads are accurately qualified and progressed. You’ll play a key part in developing strong Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and ensuring a smooth, well-documented handover to the wider Sales function.

This position would suit someone with a strong customer focus and organised approach, whether your background is in sales support, account management, customer service, or sales operations.

Key Responsibilities

* Supporting the identification and engagement of prospective customers via phone, email, social media, networking, and referrals

* Responding promptly to inbound enquiries and supporting the nurturing of warm leads

* Gaining an understanding of customer challenges across multiple market segments to support effective qualification

* Assisting with the qualification of prospects and handing over sales-ready leads (MQLs) to the Sales team

* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date CRM records (MS Dynamics experience beneficial)

* Supporting trade shows, events, and wider marketing initiatives

* Collaborating closely with colleagues and contributing ideas to support overall team performance

Experience & Skills

* Experience in sales development, sales support, customer service, or account management (B2B preferred)

* Strong communication skills across phone, email, and face-to-face interactions

* Highly organised with strong attention to detail

* Proactive, adaptable, and able to support a fast-paced sales environment

* Understanding of longer sales cycles and multi-stakeholder decision-making is advantageous

* Knowledge of GDPR and good data management practices
