Job Description
We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Front Desk/Nights professional to join our team in Hounslow, United Kingdom. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service during night shifts while managing various front desk operations and night audit tasks.
8. Warmly greet and welcome guests, ensuring a positive first impression
9. Efficiently handle check-in and check-out procedures, maintaining accuracy at all times
10. Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries and requests
11. Manage room reservations, assignments, and status updates
12. Provide information about local attractions, dining options, and transportation in Hounslow and surrounding areas
13. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction
14. Handle telephone calls, emails, and other communications in a timely manner
15. Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
16. Perform night audit tasks, including balancing accounts and preparing daily reports
17. Ensure the lobby and reception area are clean, organised, and presentable throughout the night
18. Maintain security awareness and follow established safety procedures
19. Set up breakfast and manage snacks and drinks sales as required
20. Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications
21. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
22. Strong multi-tasking abilities with a keen eye for detail and efficient prioritisation skills
23. Proficiency in basic computer applications and Opera Cloud
24. Ability to work night shifts and remain alert and composed during late hours
25. Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in hospitality
26. Basic accounting skills for night audit tasks
27. Familiarity with emergency procedures and hotel security protocols
28. Knowledge of Hounslow and popular attractions in the surrounding areas
29. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
30. High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality-related education is advantageous
31. Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
32. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
33. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
34. Basic food handling knowledge and adherence to food safety standards
