Senior Planning Manager – Riyadh (Construction & Delivery Partner)
A leading global consulting firm is seeking an experienced Senior Planning Manager to join a high-profile entertainment program in Riyadh. This is a senior role supporting the delivery partner and program leadership team, responsible for leading project planning and scheduling across major construction packages within one of the region’s most ambitious entertainment developments.
We are looking for someone with a strong main contracting background, ideally gained on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development, management, and monitoring of the master program and detailed project schedules across multiple packages. Work closely with project managers, construction teams, and contractors to ensure planning activities align with project milestones and delivery objectives. Oversee schedule performance, identifying potential delays and implementing mitigation strategies to maintain program timelines. Provide planning support across the full project lifecycle, from design coordination through to construction and handover. Prepare and present clear progress reports, schedule analysis, and forecasting updates to program leadership and key stakeholders. Ensure planning processes, controls, and reporting frameworks are implemented consistently across the program.
Candidate Profile / Requirements
Extensive experience as a Senior Planning Manager or similar role on major construction or infrastructure projects. Strong main contractor experience with a deep understanding of construction sequencing, project delivery, and site-based planning. Proven expertise in developing and managing complex project schedules using planning tools such as Primavera P6 or equivalent. Strong knowledge of delay analysis, risk planning, and schedule recovery strategies. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with project leadership, contractors, and consultants. Professional qualifications such as PMP, APM, or equivalent are desirable. Previous experience on large-scale mixed-use, entertainment, or infrastructure developments would be advantageous.
