Eligibility: UK nationals only About the Project Join a major Nuclear decommissioning programme based at the client’s headquarters in Manchester. This is a high‑profile, technically challenging project that will significantly enhance regional water and wastewater infrastructure. ⚡ The Role We’re seeking an experienced Senior Instrument Designer to take a leading role in the design and delivery of complex Nuclear decommissioning projects. You’ll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to design strategy, and ensure high‑quality, compliant electrical design outputs. ️ Key Responsibilities • Produce and review detailed electrical designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities • Develop 3D CAD models to a high standard • Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and process engineering teams • Ensure designs meet regulatory, safety, and client requirements • Support project planning, design reviews, and technical decision‑making Required Qualifications & Experience • HNC in electrical & control engineering (minimum) • Significant experience in Nuclear processing plant design (alternative ATEX process industries can be considered. • High proficiency in 3D CAD (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) • Strong understanding of UK standards and industry best practice • Ideally located within a reasonable commute to Cheadle, Manchester.
