Join to apply for the ICT Consultant role at turn IT on.
Location: Buckinghamshire. You will visit multiple school sites around Buckinghamshire and support schools with ICT provisions to enable effective teaching and learning through ICT solutions.
Responsibilities
* Facilitate communication between your school(s) and turn IT on, keeping them up to date with services offered and manage the accounts of your customers.
* Maintain school computer equipment, install new and existing software across the network, provide technical support for users and resolve identified technical problems.
* Maintain and service all IT hardware and services across school sites and help schools improve ICT provisions to support teaching and learning.
Qualifications
* Strong technical background with a passion for providing exemplary customer service.
* Self-motivated, team player with strong communication and organisational skills; ability to explain technical issues in layman's terms.
* Ability to work independently with problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to service improvement.
* Ideally at least 2 years of experience in ICT Technician/2nd line support, preferably in the education sector (not essential).
* Good knowledge of common user applications and experience with Microsoft Office 365.
* Full UK driving licence and own vehicle required to visit school sites around Buckinghamshire.
Role Details
* Salary: £26,000 – £31,000 (negotiable for the right candidate).
* Employment type: Full-time, full-year.
* Additional requirements: Enhanced DBS and safeguarding checks will be required.
