Panel Wirer- The Role:
Layout of electrical components within electrical control panels and on equipment framework.
Installation of cable tray, trunking and conduits
Testing of installations as and when required.
Wiring of Electrical Control Panels, frame mounted components and specialised machinery.
Correct use of hand tools, power tools, crimp tools to industry standards
Be reactive to work when required which is electrical and non-electrical based.
Able to read and interpret Electrical General Arrangement, Schematic and Wiring Drawings.
Undertake mechanical fitting of electrical components and associated equipment.
Fit wiring and wire control panels in accordance with supplied drawings.
Measuring and marking out to specified drawing dimensions
Keep site and equipment clean and in a safe condition.
Panel Wirer - The Person:
Completed, as a minimum, a recognised training scheme or apprenticeship. Level 3 qualification.
18th Edition Electrical Safety Regulations preferred.
Able to work using own initiative
Have previous experience wiring control panels and field wiring
Ability to work within a team or independently.
Self-motivated with the ability to meet set deadlines.
Located in Yorkshire, this role would be commutable from Leeds, Scunthorpe, Hull and other surrounding areas.
