Mobile Electrician – North of Scotland (Elgin, Muir of Ord, Talisker)
Full time. Monday‑Friday shifts may vary between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm. Flexibility needed outside of these hours due to on‑call rota. 40 hours per week. Salary up to £40,000 per annum, plus Sodexo employee benefits package, call‑out payments & overtime rates. Company van provided. Full UK driving licence required. Responsibilities
* Deliver planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.
* Carry out electrical testing and maintenance, including emergency lighting, RCD testing, and microwave testing.
* Diagnose and repair faults on electrical and mechanical systems (ventilation, AHUs, AC units, and more).
* Install, repair or replace equipment such as light fittings and plant machinery.
* Support minor facilities tasks outside your core trade, such as basic plumbing, joinery, and smoke vent testing.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth service delivery.
* Participate in the on‑call rota (currently 1 in 4 weeks).
Qualifications
* Fully qualified 18th Edition Electrician (including 2nd amendment) with time‑served experience.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical systems such as ventilation and AHUs.
* Experience with hard services PPM and reactive works.
* Ability to work at height and sound understanding of health & safety.
* Strong IT skills (MS Office, tablets, PDAs).
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Full, clean driving licence.
