We're now looking for a
Project Development Assistant Manager
to join our team and support the delivery of major BESS projects across the UK.
The Role
As Project Development Assistant Manager, you'll:
* Support the
end-to-end development
of battery storage projects – from land acquisition through to planning, grid, and commercial readiness.
* Support
acquisitions of new projects
, and
capital raising processes
to fund the construction of our projects
* Manage relationships with
landowners, local authorities, grid operators, and external consultants
.
* Assist in the preparation of
planning applications, environmental assessments, and project documentation
.
* Monitor project timelines, budgets, and risks, ensuring delivery against key milestones.
* Work closely with senior team members on
project financing, procurement, and stakeholder engagement
.
About You
We're seeking a proactive and organised team player with:
* Experience in
energy, infrastructure, or property development
.
* Strong project management and organisational skills.
* Ability to build relationships and influence diverse stakeholders.
* A genuine interest in the UK energy transition and renewable technologies.
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
* Qualified Chartered Accountant or similar professional qualification or work experienced energy project developer or M&A specialist
Desirable: Knowledge of
M&A or financing processes,
grid connections, planning regulations, or environmental permitting
.
