You will have ONE direct report at H&S Assistant level. Day-to-day of the role: Conduct risk assessments and safety audits in line with the company safety plan to ensure compliance and assess risks. Assist with both internal and external safety audits, including the annual safety systems audit. Issue and monitor corrective action notices arising from audits until satisfactory resolution. Maintain an effective document control system for all incoming standards, legislation, directives, and codes of practice. Review work methods, standards, procedures, and documentation to ensure safety and compliance with legislative provisions. Identify and train staff on Safety Critical Work, ensuring ongoing competency assessments. Advise staff and managers to ensure adherence to safety procedures and methods.
