Who You Are We are seeking a registered Social Worker with a passion for protecting and supporting vulnerable children. You should have up-to-date knowledge of key child care legislation, guidance, and best practices. You will have experience in completing assessments, reports, and plans for children identified as vulnerable or in need. A full driving licence is essential. You must have two DFE references and compliance. What the job involves As a Safeguarding Social Worker, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Wiltshire's vulnerable children, from pre-birth to age 18. You will work within a patch-based model, matching families with your expertise and chosen area within the county. Flexibility is prioritized with various work locations and hotdesking opportunities to enhance collaboration with safeguarding teams and services. This is a hybrid role with expectations of weekly office attendance and travel across the county, with specifics to be discussed at the interview.
