Further information on the Council and our directorates The Role: The purpose of the service is to reduce inequalities within health, employment and life experiences for people with learning disabilities and mental ill health. To engage, enable and empower individuals with learning disabilities and mental ill health to have fulfilled, rewarding and healthy lives. Utilising a strengths-based approach, through partnership working with the individual, their family and carers, health partners, local businesses, employers, organisations and the local community we endeavour to achieve our purpose.
