Job Description
Lakeland Leisure Estates Ltd, based in Staveley, Cumbria are looking for a creative and versatile Graphic Designer & Marketing Executive to support our growing portfolio of holiday parks, marinas, and leisure developments.
This is a hands-on, varied role, although primarily focused on design, you will be responsible for assisting the Manager and Digital Marketing Executive with content creation, and digital marketing. You’ll play a key part in bringing our brand to life across multiple channels, helping to showcase our destinations and drive engagement, leads, and sales.
What You’ll Do
* Lead the creation of print and digital design assets across the business
* Design brochures, flyers, posters, banners, signage, and event materials
* Produce on-site branding and promotional graphics across our parks and developments
* Create digital assets for website, email, social media, and campaigns
* Edit and retouch photos to a professional, high-quality standard
* Ensure all creative work is consistent with brand guidelines and campaign goals
* Work closely with the Digital Marketing Lead to provide assets optimized for PPC, Google Ads, and social media ads
* Support website updates and maintain engaging, visually appealing online content
* Contribute ideas for campaigns and promotions
Key Responsibilities
Graphic Design (Core Focus)
* Lead the creation of high-quality print and digital design assets across the business
* Design brochures, flyers, posters, banners, and promotional materials
* Produce on-site signage and branding for parks, developments, and events
* Create marketing collateral to support sales activity and new developments
* Ensure all creative work is consistent with brand guidelines and high visual standards
* Design assets for website, email campaigns, and social media channels
* Create engaging visuals to support campaigns led by the digital marketing team
* Prepare graphics for presentations and video content
* Support the ongoing improvement of visual content across all digital platforms
Photo Editing & Content Enhancement
* Edit and retouch photos for print, social media, website, and campaigns
* Adjust images to ensure professional, polished, and on-brand visual content
* Work with raw photography from sites and events to create impactful marketing materials
Marketing Support
* Work closely with the Digital Marketing Lead to supply creative assets for campaigns
* Assist with light video editing and content creation when required
* Ensure designs are optimized for PPC, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and other digital campaigns
* Support SEO/PPC campaigns with visually compelling assets
* Assist with light video editing and content creation if required
* Contribute ideas for creative campaigns and promotions
Events & On-Site Branding
* Design and prepare materials for events, launches, and open days
* Support on-site setup when required
* Ensure strong, consistent branding across all physical locations
Website Support
* Assist with website updates, including adding listings and refreshing visual content ad hoc
* Support the wider team with maintaining an engaging and up-to-date online presence
About The Role
Person Specification
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a graphic design-focused role (portfolio essential)
* Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
* Experience producing print-ready artwork (brochures, signage, large-format materials)
* Strong photo editing and retouching skills
* Ability to design across both print and digital formats
* Understanding of layout, typography, and brand consistency
* Basic understanding of digital marketing principles, including PPC, Google Ads, and social media ads
Desirable Skills
* Basic knowledge of digital marketing (social media, email, PPC)
* Experience designing for web and email platforms
* Video editing or motion graphics skills
* Photography or content capture experience
* Experience in property, leisure, or hospitality sectors
* Clean UK driving licence

Desired Criteria
Required Criteria
* Strong graphic design background, preferably from a related industry.
* Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
* Proven experience managing design projects from brief to completion.
* Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
* Excellent understanding of GDPR compliance is essential.
