The Role:
At Long-Term Teachers, we're on the hunt for vibrant, confident, and enthusiastic individuals to fill a variety of fantastic roles across Gloucestershire. We're particularly interested in SEN teaching assistants who are comfortable and experienced in 1:1 roles, and are adept at supporting pupils with behavioural or complex needs.
Role Requirements:
This specific role is in a mainstream primary school based in central Gloucester. The role requires an experienced and highly capable individual, looking to take on a new and exciting role, in a quaint school with a tight knit community. The candidate must be confident working in 1:1 roles with children that have a range of different needs such as SEMH, ASD, ADHD and various other complex needs.
We're looking for individuals who possess the following qualities:
- Comprehensive knowledge of support/intervention programmes for SEND
- Patience and a nurturing, kind mindset
- Flexibility
- Previous experience with SEN/SEMH
- Compassionate and proactive approach
- Successful experience working with children
- Passion for inclusive education
- Confidence, understanding, and open-mindedness
Working with Long-term Teachers:
