Job Introduction
Are you an experienced Civils and Contracts Supervisor ready to lead from the front? We’re looking for a proactive, safety-first professional to oversee civil engineering projects and resurfacing projects contract delivery — ensuring every job runs smoothly, safely, and profitably.
The Role
You’ll manage site teams, subcontractors, and resources to deliver high-quality infrastructure works. From planning and supervision to client liaison and cost control, you’ll be the driving force behind operational success and contract compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead site operations with a focus on HSQE compliance
2. Supervise civils works to spec and industry standards
3. Manage contract delivery, cost/value reporting, and testing
4. Allocate resources efficiently and reduce delays
5. Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and local authorities
6. Oversee team performance, training, and development
7. Drive continuous improvement and reduce waste/remedials
What You’ll Bring
8. CSCS & SMSTS (NEBOSH/HNC desirable)
9. Proven experience in Highways Surfacing, civils supervision and contract management
10. Strong knowledge of contracting methods and site operations
11. Confident communicator and team leader
12. Problem-solver with a drive for improvement
13. IT Data Management (highly desirable)
14. Pavers Machine Control experience (highly desirable)
