Abatec is looking for an experienced and motivated Logistics Section Leader to join our Supply Chain Department, reporting directly to the Logistics Manager. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all logistics functions across the business and playing a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement. Monday to Friday £35,000 Full Time - Permanent Responsibilities * Plan and lead logistics team, to include internal transportation for all Units introduce Kanban systems where appropriate and * Utilise ERP system to maximise efficiencies in receiving product, and method of delivery to point of use incorporating Bar Code technology & stock control using PI Counting methodology * Warehouse management to ensure efficient use of space and ensure appropriate material handling equipment including Forklifts used throughout the Business. * Supervise, coach and train warehouse teams * Resolve any arising problems or complaints * Maintain driver Quality and No-show rate * Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements * Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements * Working with the purchasing team to effectively manage stock levels, considering quality, cost & delivery impact.
