Role Description/Criteria St Raphael's Catholic Primary School offers coherent, evidence-based learning approaches and a knowledge-rich curriculum designed to inspire learners to grow towards excellence. Guided by the Gospel values of Trust, Honesty, Acceptance and Hope, our community is welcoming, collaborative and dedicated to the holistic development of every child.We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Student Learning Diversity Leader to join our team.The Learning Diversity Leader is a Position of Leadership (part-time, three days per week) commencing in Term 1, 2026. As an active member of the Leadership Team, this role drives the school's vision for Learning Diversity by leading inclusive practices that support students of all abilities and backgrounds. The Leader works closely with teachers to identify and support students who require additional support, using data to inform teaching, track progress, and refine interventions. One who demonstrates the ability to support the school's Catholic ethos and has a current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration. Special Requirements The successful applicant will: Demonstrate commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and well-being of children, in accordance with our Child Safe Policy and Child Safe Code of Conduct (which can be accessed via our school website). Lead professional learning in line with MACS Vision for Instruction. Develop and monitor personalised plans (PLP). Coordinate and document Program Support Group (PSG) meetings. Ensure compliance with requirements, including the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD). Provide professional learning for staff on inclusive teaching and the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS). Manage learning support resources and personnel. Work closely with families, allied health professionals, MACS consultants, the Principal, Deputy Principal, and the Mental Health and Wellbeing Teacher. Plan with teachers, empowering them to develop SMART goals and differentiated Instruction that aligns with the Vision for Instruction and Vision for Engagement. Coordinate the ESO/LSO program and their ongoing professional development Build positive relationships and help create learning environments where all are valued, engaged, and challenged. Demonstrate effective communication and organisational skills and the ability to plan collaboratively and be flexible, proactive, and resourceful. Develop and maintain professional and caring relationships with students, parents and colleagues. Demonstrate active participation in activities that help progress our School Improvement Plan. Undertake administrative duties, attend relevant school events Complete other duties as required by the Principal. Qualifications and Experience Accreditation to teach in a Catholic School and current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration. Demonstrated experience and understanding of the NCCD process and requirements. Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and MACS policies, including the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 and Disability Standards for Education 2005. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
