Position: Nursery Chef
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week

Your Role as Nursery Chef
As our Nursery Chef, you will play a vital role in nurturing our children’s health and well-being. Your responsibilities will include:
* Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to hygiene standards and completing the Kitchen Hygiene Checklist monthly.
* Preparing and cooking age-appropriate meals, ensuring minimal waste and catering to dietary requirements.
* Collaborating with nursery staff and parents to promote a healthy and nutritious diet.
* Managing food orders within budgetary constraints to ensure consistent quality.

What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
* Strong knowledge of managing dietary requirements and food allergies (essential)
* Understanding of COSHH regulations (essential)
* Experience in working within a catering budget (essential)
* Relevant cooking experience in domestic or commercial settings (essential)
* Fluency in written and spoken English at GCSE grade C (or equivalent) (essential)
* A passion for cooking for young children (desirable)
