As a Care & Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in supporting older and vulnerable adults in their own homes. Operating between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm seven days a week, you’ll provide assistance with daily living tasks based on individual care plans, administer medication, offer personal support, and help with meals. Your empathetic approach will make a real difference to our tenants’ lives, and you’ll have the time to get to know each resident and give them the care and support they need, in the way they like.
Remuneration & Working Hours
* Hourly Rate: £14.04 per hour (from 1 April 2026)
* Availability: Flexible shifts (morning and back shifts) including alternate weekends
* Guaranteed Hours: 20 hours per week, worked over an average of 4 days on a rolling 2‑week rota basis, with a mixture of weekdays and weekend, day shifts and back shifts

Responsibilities
* Provide practical support to older and vulnerable adults in their own homes
* Administer medication and monitor health status as per care plans
* Assistance with personal care, meal preparation, and daily living tasks
* Maintain accurate care records and communicate effectively with residents and team members
* Identify and report any concerns or changes in resident wellbeing to the appropriate professionals
Ideal Candidate
* Experience in the care sector, working with older people or other vulnerable groups
* Hold an SVQ in Health and Social Care or a relevant qualification
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Basic IT skills
* Passion, empathy, and dedication to helping tenants live their lives to the fullest (previous experience preferred but not essential)
