The successful candidate will teach Computer Science across KS3–KS5, helping students build strong programming foundations, computational thinking, problem-solving skills and an understanding of wider digital systems. Students follow a challenging and relevant curriculum, including programming (Python), algorithms, networking, databases and software development.
The department runs a popular extracurricular programme featuring coding clubs, robotics projects, cyber-security challenges, digital leadership teams and optional STEM enrichment pathways. This role would suit a teacher passionate about developing digital creativity and encouraging students to take risks and experiment with emerging technology.
Experience & Qualifications
• QTS/PGCE with a degree in Computer Science or closely related field
• Ability to teach Computer Science confidently at GCSE and A-Level
• Strong programming expertise (Python essential; Java/C++ advantageous)
• Experience with robotics, AI or digital projects desirable
• A genuine passion for digital education and innovation
• Commitment to raising achievement and fostering confidence in young learners
