Conduct waste separation and environmental compliance audits across NHS hospitals, clinics, dentists and community healthcare sites.
Support and review Pre-Acceptance Audits.
Impart knowledge of HTM 07-01 guidance, UK waste legislation, and NHS sustainability targets.
Manage your own audit schedule.
Identify non-conformances, risks, and opportunities for operational improvement.
Produce clear audit reports with actionable recommendations.
Deliver training to clinical and non-clinical staff on correct healthcare waste segregation.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
EXPERIENCE: Waste Auditor / Compliance Advisor Clinical Healthcare Waste We are looking for a detail-focused professional with strong knowledge of healthcare waste management and environmental compliance.
Experience in healthcare waste management, auditing, or compliance Strong understanding of HTM 07-01 (Health Technical Memorandum 07-01) and UK waste legislation.
Excellent auditing, analytical, and report writing skills.
Confident communicator able to engage with clinical and operational staff at all levels.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
Desirable Skills Environmental or waste management qualifications such as CIWM or IEMA.
