Learning Support Assistant Are you a compassionate and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners with additional needs? Academics is currently recruiting for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join one of our fantastic partner SEN schools in Wolverhampton this September. About the Role: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs including SEMH, ASD, SLD, and PMLD. You will assist with both academic and emotional development, working closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to ensure every child has the best chance to thrive. Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 or small group support for students with additional needs Implement strategies outlined in EHCPs Support learning across the curriculum, including literacy and numeracy Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionalsAbout You: To be successful as a Learning Support Assistant, you'll need: Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (in school or care settings) A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach Strong communication and interpersonal skills A genuine passion for inclusive education An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)Why Academics?
