We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Project Manager with experience in the manufacturing sector, on behalf of our client The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing production and capital projects from initiation through completion. This role requires close collaboration with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery, cost control, and alignment with strategic business goals. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management. Lead the execution of projects such as new production line installations, process improvements, and equipment upgrades. Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as a liaison between engineering, production, procurement, and quality assurance to ensure clear communication and alignment on objectives. Facilitate regular project meetings and update stakeholders on progress, risks, and changes. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in mass production and fabrication. Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma practices to reduce waste and increase productivity. Budget & Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and report variances. Source vendors and manage contracts for outsourced project elements and equipment. Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all projects comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal policies. Drive initiatives to promote a culture of safety and quality. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field (Masters or PMP certification is a plus). Experience: Minimum 5 years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment (manufacturing industry preferred). Proven track record in managing complex, cross-functional projects. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
