Outreach Tutor (SEN - Complex Needs) ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Outreach Tutor with experience supporting students with complex needs in Havering. This role involves delivering bespoke 1:1 education packages to young people who are not currently attending school. We are particularly interested in tutors who are ABA trained and Team Teach certified, and who have a strong background in working with pupils with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges. As an Outreach Tutor, you will be expected to plan and deliver tailored lessons that re-engage learners, close learning gaps, and build confidence. Many of the pupils have experienced disrupted education and may present challenging behaviour, so experience with de-escalation and structured behaviour strategies is essential. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced educator who wants to move away from a traditional classroom setting and deliver high-impact, individualised support to those who need it most.
