Job title: Senior Editor
About the company:
LUX Media & Productions is a fast growing strategic content and production agency specialising in short form social content, long form storytelling, and high end video production.
As we've grown, so has our production scope. We now create everything from performance driven vertical content to cinematic brand campaigns, YouTube formats and long form narrative pieces across.
We're a small but ambitious agency, only 2 years and already working with major names. Now, as we scale, we're looking for someone who wants to join the journey and become part of the LUX team.
At LUX, we do not create content just to look good. We create content to perform and to last. Every edit, cut, pacing decision, sound design layer and colour grade is intentional. Whether it is a 12 second hook driven social clip or a 12 minute long form film, the goal is the same, clarity, emotion and impact.
This is not a plug in and coast environment. It is a high trust, high standard, creatively demanding role inside a team that blends strategy with production. If you care about storytelling, rhythm, retention, structure and performance as much as you care about technical precision, you will fit right in.
The Role:
We're looking for an experienced, highly capable Senior Editor to lead all post production across the agency.
This is a hybrid role covering approximately 70 percent short form performance content and 30 percent long form storytelling. The long form workload is increasing month on month here. You will be the sole lead editor, responsible for setting the creative benchmark, managing post production schedules, and delivering work that meets both commercial performance goals and cinematic standards.
You will work closely with the directors and creative team from concept stage through to final delivery, contributing ideas around pacing, structure, narrative flow and retention. We want someone who sees editing as storytelling, not just assembling clips.
You will own the post production process. While projects will have a lead producer, you will manage editing timelines, post workflows and final delivery standards.
