Responsibilities:
* Designing and teaching engaging lessons that are effectively differentiated for individual student requirements.
* Conducting ongoing assessments and using data to track and guide student progress.
* Modifying curriculum materials to ensure full accessibility for all learners.
* Working seamlessly with support staff, parents, and external professional services.
* Maintaining a positive and structured learning environment.
Essential Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is absolutely essential.
* Proven history teaching students with diverse Special Educational Needs (SEN) within a recognised UK school environment.
* Deep knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice, effective intervention strategies, and advanced pedagogical techniques.
* Exceptional resilience, adaptability, proactive work ethic, and strong classroom management skills.
* A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check is required, or the immediate willingness to secure one.
Highly Desired: A relevant specialist SEN qualification or significant experience supporting pupils with complex or profound learning difficulties.
