The Finance Manager will report to the Global Financial Controller and be an integral part of the Finance team. This role involves supporting the smooth operation of the financial reporting for the global business and requires interaction with both external and internal stakeholders within the Woodland Global division.

About the role:
* Management of AP and AR functions, including setting objectives and monitoring performance
* VAT & Duty Reconciliations for WGB – by mid-month
* Oversee preparation, investigation, and resolution of Balance Sheet reconciliations
* Management of accruals and prepayments
* Oversee Fixed Assets – Schedules, disposals, depreciation postings
* IFRS16 accounting
* Assistance in month-end closure
* Department and cost centre analysis
* Budget and forecast preparation, business partnering
* Ad hoc month-end journals
* Profit and loss reporting and analysis
* Supporting month and year-end closure and audits
* Contribute to ONS completion/review
* Building and maintaining relationships
* Ad hoc reporting
* Cash Flow forecast and Treasury management
* Closing cash books
* Tax pack completion for Group entities
* Reconciliation of Tax estimations
* Statutory account preparation
* Liaison with auditors
* Process improvement and business performance enhancement
* Supporting departmental and personal development
Personal Specification:
