Job Role - CNI (Critical Infrastructure) Lead Engineer
We are looking for an experienced CNI Lead Engineer – Electrical Bias to work with a Mitie client to conduct work that provides a multi-skilled maintenance service to Critical Infrastructure (CNI), which covers electrical and mechanical disciplines and to provide a reactive and pro-active maintenance service as per project requirements to all operational equipment.
Tasks that have been identified are as follows:
Responsible for ensuring Critical Infrastructure (CNI) assets are fully operational and compliant with KPIs. Acts as the primary client contact for CNI operations, overseeing PPM scheduling, shift planning, incident escalation, and technical support. Also manages reporting (capacity, incidents, weekly updates), drives continuous improvement, supports business continuity planning, and ensures accurate change control processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience in a similar role within a Data Centre or similar critical environment with a proven track record in the effective management of planned programme of works and reactive works coordinating multi skilled work groups
Previous experience of having been appointed as an Authorised Person for HV/LV systems.
Excellent people management skills while able to manage sub-contractors and supply chain
Fully conversant with current H&S legislation and process management systems
Understanding of asset management information systems together with remote monitoring integrated technology
Holder of a full and valid driving licence
Qualified electrical and/or mechanical engineer (BS7671 qualified, City & Guilds Engr, ONC, Building Services, etc..) or equivalent
IT literate in MS Office
