As a Production Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability of materials to meet customer requirements in line with the production plan. This role requires a proactive and process-driven approach, working closely with production teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient material flow.

What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?

•Create, maintain, and execute robust production plans that minimise disruptions and optimise resource use.
•Liaise closely with the supply chain team and internal departments to ensure timely availability of all required materials and components.
•Set clear priorities for material allocation, component production, rework, OE activities.
•Actively participate in weekly Supply Chain meetings
•Follow up with internal suppliers to ensure they remain on track with their commitments.
•Escalate and expedite components where necessary to maintain OTD performance.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and drive planning improvements.
•Provide cover for other planners during short-term absences.
•Continuously seek out and implement improvements to enhance planning processes and efficiency.

•Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to drive issues to resolution.
•Experience using SAP, Excel, and other digital tools for materials planning.
•Ability to work under pressure, influence stakeholders, and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills
•Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
•Knowledge of production planning processes and inventory management.
•Analytical mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
