Flexible Bank Support Worker – Woodthorpe, Nottingham,(NG5). 0 hrs. | £12.62 ph. We’re seeking a Fully Flexible Bank Support Worker. You’ll bring a happy, upbeat vibe and be ready to support with, autism, epilepsy, early signs of dementia and some anxiety. ‘We are passionate about our people and every year we invest heavily in our front-line worker pay, in line with the Living Wage increase each April. Our Best Lives, Bolder Strategy - Community Integrated Care Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role: We are three lovely ladies aged 54–58, each with our own personalities and support needs. We all have a learning disability, and between us we also experience autism, epilepsy, early signs of dementia and some anxiety—but we don’t let that stop us enjoying life. We’re friendly, easy‑going and love arts and crafts, puzzles, games, baking, films and music. Some of us enjoy getting out and exploring the community, and others are building confidence to become more independent, including learning how to get around locally. We get along best with people who are kind, patient, chatty and respectful of our choices. We don’t gel with people who are rude or dismissive. Our home is warm, relaxed and welcoming, with shared spaces to enjoy activities together and quiet spots for downtime. We’re in a lovely area with easy access to Arnold and Mapperley, top for shops and cafés, and just a short bus ride from Nottingham city centre. There are great local walks, pubs for lunch, and lots of transport options including buses, trams, trains and taxis.
