An interesting opportunity for a machinist to join our specialist team in the Yurts For Life wood workshop. It can be a part-time role e.g. 3-4 days per week, paid pro-rata.
We make every part of our traditional steam bent yurts here in our Devon workshop for our clients to enjoy all over the world.
If you enjoy being part of a team of craftspeople and can bring with you your experience of working with a variety of machines and seasoned hardwood, please get in touch.
Your approach will be process based and methodical, with a sense of urgency and responsibility for your part of the production, and concern for the safety of yourself and others. You will own the initial part of our wood based production and also be responsible for ensuring that the machines we work with are kept in good working order, directly supporting both our doors team and frames team.
