About Us
️At AirAdvisor, we focus on ensuring air travelers receive compensation for flight disruptions such as delays, cancellations, missed connections, or overbooking. Launched in June 2025, our new baggage claims service covers lost, delayed, or destroyed luggage. We operate across the EU, UK, and other international markets, handling over 480,000 claims for clients from 221 countries, with a 4.7-star rating from 25,000+ reviews. Our platform supports 21 languages, with plans to add more. As a fast-growing startup with global ambitions, we aim to process 1 million claims by the end of 2026.
We seek a highly skilled Litigation Lawyer specializing in consumer flight claims, with experience in in-court collections, to lead legal proceedings and potentially establish a boutique legal firm in the UK. You will file court cases to recover compensation, reimburse expenses, and handle airline claims under EU261, Montreal Convention, and other relevant regulations.
This role involves legal advocacy, court enforcement, settlement negotiations, legal research, and possibly legal reform initiatives. The ideal candidate is independent, results-driven, and passionate about consumer rights in the airline industry.
Requirements:
* A valid UK Attorney at Law license and professional liability insurance.
* A law degree from an accredited institution.
* Experience with small claims, consumer rights, or aviation law is a plus.
* Proven success in in-court collection.
* Strong analytical, research, and case management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
* Experience with legal automation and scaling claims processes.
Responsibilities:
* Represent AirAdvisor legally in the UK, handle all legal claims, and assist in establishing a UK law firm if feasible.
* Manage pre-court collections and file batches of claims monthly.
* Recover compensation under EU261, Montreal Convention, and other legal frameworks.
* Respond to airline defenses, enforce court judgments, and negotiate settlements.
* Maintain accurate legal files, conduct legal research, and stay updated on relevant laws.
* Seek legal remedies, including appeals and legislative advocacy, where appropriate.
* Support automation of claims workflows and identify new legal business opportunities.
* Represent AirAdvisor in media and public relations efforts to promote passenger rights.
We offer:
* Remote-first culture with flexible hours.
* Paid time off and holidays.
* Performance reviews and bonuses.
* Opportunities for professional growth and international expansion.
* Supportive, global team environment.
