Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Science team for a full‑time lecturer on a fixed‑term basis. The role involves teaching Level 3 Forensic and Criminal Investigation with Applied Psychology and Level 3 Criminology with Public Services, and working across a variety of FE and HE programmes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver taught modules, including exam‑based units and coursework such as Psychological Approaches and Applications, Health Psychology, Conducting Psychological Research, Criminal and Forensic Psychology, Criminological Theories and Changing Awareness of Crime.
- Promote, support and embed English and Maths skills within the planning and delivery of all teaching.
- Provide prompt, detailed assessment of student work and carry out personal tutoring, including target setting.
Qualifications
- Teaching experience and/or a background in psychology, criminology or forensics desirable.
