Are you ready to make an impact in the Recycle loop as our next Finance Assistant in the Treasury team?
We offer a forward‑thinking environment where your attention to detail and financial acumen will shape how we manage and optimise cash flow. Reporting to the Finance Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in ensuring cash is accurately forecasted, allocated and aligned.
Day‑to‑day duties
* Process incoming payments by applying daily cash receipts to customer accounts and sales ledgers.
* Reconcile bank transactions against internal financial records for consistency and accuracy.
* Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies (overpayments, underpayments, unallocated funds).
* Collaborate with credit control teams to elevate queries and facilitate prompt resolution.
* Follow up on outstanding remittances from clients to support timely cash allocation.
Additional job information
* Full‑time position (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday.
* Must live within a commutable distance to the Telford office.
What we need from you
* Experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with financial systems.
* Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
* Exceptional attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
* Clear and confident communication skills for effective coordination.
* Highly organised and efficient approach to daily tasks.
