We are seeking an exceptional School Business Manager to join our dedicated team at Chaddesley Corbett Endowed Primary School. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the financial management, staff leadership, HR and compliance, health and safety, premises management, ICT and data, and governance and reporting for the school. Key Responsibilities: Financial Management: Budget planning and monitoring for the school, nursery, breakfast, after-school clubs and holiday clubs. Staff Leadership: Line management of the admin team, site manager, and cleaners; liaison with lunchtime and extended day managers. HR and Compliance: Oversee recruitment, appraisals, staff development, and ensure compliance with employment legislation and safer recruitment practices. Health & Safety and Premises: Ensure the school premises are safe, well-maintained, and compliant with statutory requirements. ICT and Data Management: Lead on data protection, ICT systems, and communication strategies. Governance and Reporting: Attend Governing Body meetings and prepare reports for external bodies including the LA and DfE. Qualifications and Experience: Relevant professional qualification in accounting/finance (level 3 or above), business management, or a related field.
