This position will be assessed under Annex 21, with remuneration at 70% of the maximum Band 7 salary.

The Trainee Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) role is a two-year programme aimed at achieving a Postgraduate Diploma (Pg Dip).

The Role

We are seeking experienced Advanced Practitioners to join our multi-disciplinary healthcare team within the FNC+ service. The successful candidates will work autonomously across Primary, Community and Acute Services during both in-hours and out-of-hours periods, including weekends and public holidays. Work as a Band 7 Advanced Practitioner to clinically review, prescribe and develop appropriate management plans, including directing care for patients across NHSL. This includes managing referrals from GPs, SAS, NHS 24, care homes, prisons and other sources.

What we'll need you to bring

Registered Nurse / AHP / Pharmacist with valid NMC/HCPC / GPHC Registration.

Educated to/working towards/operating at Masters Level.

Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced clinical practice and expertise within speciality.

area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently.

Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the speciality.

Advanced Specialist knowledge and experience of relevant conditions, pathology, policies and procedures associated with the speciality/area of practice ensuring that the level of expertise can be utilised to deliver leadership within speciality.

Evidence of application of advanced practice skills in speciality and applying clinical judgement.

Evidence of further developed knowledge and experience in management and/or leadership.

Further education/evidence of Continuous Professional Development in area of speciality including study days/courses/post graduate qualification.

Working knowledge of basic information technology.

Car Driver Essential

Please note for all vacancies where a driving licence is required this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.

It would be great if you also have

Non-medical prescribing Qualification

Undertaken non medical prescribing qualification

Undertaking mandatory online training e.g. violence and aggression, blood transfusion.

Postgraduate expertise in specialty /area of practice that demonstrates required breadth of knowledge required to lead safely, effectively and efficiently.

Postgraduate experience transferrable to or in primary and community care.

Evidence Of Management, Education And Training Experience.

Experience in a medical/surgical environment.

Location and Working Pattern

This role will be based within Kirklands - NHSL Headquarters.

The working pattern for this role is 12 hours over 24/7, but mainly evenings, nights & weekends
