Job Title: Principal Process Safety Engineer \n Location: Barrow-in-Furness – we offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role. \n Salary: £47,241 + depending on experience \n What you’ll be doing: \n\n Completing DSEAR risk assessments and compliance activities \n Mentoring and developing junior engineers \n Reviewing and producing explosion safety strategies \n Peer reviewing work \n Risk Analysis \n Developing and producing processes and policy documentation for the site \n Your skills and experiences: \n Essential: \n\n Experience of working in an explosion safety engineering environment and applying various methods of hazard analysis \n DSEAR risk assessment production including hazard identification and analysis (preferably from a high hazard industry)\n A thorough understanding of Hazardous Area Classification (HAC) and Proven track record in implementing business processes to achieve strategic objectives \n Desirable: \n\n Degree qualified in a STEM discipline \n COMAH – Control of Major Accident Hazards (Safety Case support) experience \n Site Asset Protection experience & Fire Safety Engineering experience \n Benefits \n As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, inclu...
