Base pay range

$61,500.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Overview

Partner with the Gallagher Re Facultative Leadership Team to develop and deliver pragmatic commercial people plans to achieve strategic business objectives for a start-up division operating globally with significant expansion plans over the next 5 years. Deliver divisional and global people initiatives using HR Centres of Excellence expertise to ensure high-quality, commercial solutions. Support the HR Director on a range of projects and responsibilities to add value to strategic and tactical agendas across Gallagher Re Facultative.


How You'll Make An Impact


Partnering

* Provide expert coaching and consulting to the Facultative leadership team, with appropriate challenge to meet business and people objectives
* Drive a high-performing culture, improve employee experience and retention
* Oversee local colleague issues with local HR teams
* Assist in creating and delivering divisional people plans within Gallagher Re Facultative
* Develop and implement plans to engage employees
* Promote alignment with HR policies, tools, processes and initiatives including Learning and Development, HR system functionality and MI reporting, Talent Acquisition, Employee Benefits and Wellbeing, and family-friendly policies
* Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence to enable and deliver human capital solutions


Performance

* Embed a performance culture with coaching on Performance Improvement Plans and recognition
* Analyze data to identify high/low performance and recommend actions
* Facilitate performance rating moderation and quality assessments of goal-setting and reviews
* Support global and divisional recognition initiatives
* Train the business on performance reviews and goal setting


Internal Talent Management & External Talent Acquisition

* Support succession planning and career development to identify gaps and embed talent approaches
* Facilitate talent and succession planning sessions and career conversations
* Act as advocate for global/divisional talent initiatives with L&D
* Collaborate with Talent Acquisition teams on planning and execution
* Participate in assessment and selection of senior/specialist hires as required


Business Change

* Provide project management and support for people-related impacts from change projects (including M&A)
* Lead or support HR-related aspects of organizational change
* Coordinate HR Service Delivery resources and employee consultation/communication processes
* Support redeployment opportunities for affected colleagues


Employee Relations

* Deliver complex ER guidance with risk-mitigated commercial outcomes
* Prepare risk assessments and settlement agreements with in-house legal teams
* Act as point of escalation on complex ER cases
* Inform stakeholders of changes in HR policies and procedures


Reward

* Work with the HR Director and Reward CoE on reward strategies for individuals and teams
* Support annual pay and bonus processes, data management and communications
* Promote total reward to improve engagement and retention
* Assist in creation and governance of incentive plans


Culture & Engagement

* Drive engagement actions at local level
* Embed the Gallagher Way across leadership teams
* Support inclusive culture


HR Function / Team Working

* Collaborate as part of a "One HR" team with Centres of Excellence
* Drive continuous improvement within HR
* Collaborate with Risk & Compliance, Finance, Legal and other stakeholders
* Represent HR in cross-functional programs


Governance

* Comply with AJG Professional Standards; manage client information, whistleblowing, and fairness to customers
* Follow internal policies and applicable laws with Gallagher values


About You

* Bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience required


Technical Knowledge

* Sound up-to-date Employment Law knowledge
* Knowledge of financial services desirable


Experience

* Progressive HR business partnering experience in large multinationals
* Experience managing HR issues across multiple countries
* Ability to understand business issues and deliver HR interventions
* Experience in change management and restructuring including exits
* Coaching/feedback techniques for complex relationships
* Negotiation and influencing with stakeholders
* Strong relationship-building and prioritization of risks
* Experience with compensation and incentivisation vehicles


Skills / Other

* Strong client focus and the ability to handle contentious interactions
* Interpersonal skills, with effective verbal and written communication
* Good presentation skills with senior stakeholders
* Creative problem-solving and results orientation
* Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail
* High ethics and integrity in client focus
* MS Office proficiency
* Travel up to 15%
