The Demand Planner will be responsible & accountable for building, reporting and the quality of the 0-24 month forecast for the brands/ channels they supervise.

They will be expected to combine qualitative and quantitative analytical skills:

Technically: hands-on forecasting, life cycle management, OMP governance, inventory/supply management and implementation of demand-enhancing tools

Management: close connection to Locam Marketing leads and supply planning teams, coordinating efforts between Customer Demand Planners and Brand Demand Planners.

What your role is:

Prepare/guarantee the UK&I forecast for PEAK demand process/ Support/Forecast annual UK SP volume process, accountable for Demand – Supply balancing 0-24 months, including risk management and assumptions tracking.

Partner with commercial teams to drive forecast accuracy & consistently reduce forecast bias by challenging assumptions, driving technical consistency and support activity planning by collaborating closely with CDPs.

Ensure OMP Demand Planning system is correctly governed/managed/maintained.

Partner with supply planning to guarantee continuous supply, prioritisation and inventory strategies.

Focus on the tracking and reporting of supply movements/forecast consumption, waste performance and stock position at General Milss (ATP)

Responsible for core KPI’s: Forecast Accuracy & Bias, Waste, NPD OTIF.

Lead and drive the Brand Demand Review process, serving as the go-to person for any brand-related forecasting queries from MAT stakeholders.

Proactively challenge the status quo by questioning both short-term and long-term assumptions if needed.

Be able to communicate effectively the changes made to the forecast.

What you will bring to the team:

Proven experience in planning (project/forecasting) and supporting end-to-end supply chain challenges with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. You'll be able to interpret complex information and present it clearly to stakeholders, driving effective decision-making. Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills are essential for guiding brand demand review meetings.

Proficiency in systems, including Excel, SAP, and OMP (preferred), is required. You'll have a continuous improvement mindset, learning agility, and strong collaboration skills, enabling you to challenge the status quo and drive positive change.
