Sous Chef (Nights) – Amazon LBA5, LS9 0DZ.
Pay & Hours
Pay Rate: £15.50 – £16.00 per hour (based on experience). Hours: 37.5 hours per week – 7.30 pm to 3:30 am. Working Pattern: 5 nights over 7 days (including weekends). Overtime: Paid if required.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the smooth running of daily kitchen operations.
* Maintain high standards of food preparation and hygiene.
* Support with stock control, ordering, and kitchen organisation.
* Lead and inspire junior kitchen staff when required.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a CDP or Senior CDP in a high-volume environment.
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
* A team player with a positive attitude and passion for food.
* Flexibility to work weekends as part of a 5 over 7 schedule.
* Professional experience working as a Chef's.
* Ability to manage, train, and support a team.
* Financially astute, analytical, and able to create and maintain budgets.
* Excellent coaching, delegation, and influencing skills.
* Ability to prioritise multiple projects in a fast‑paced, multi‑faced, creative environment.
* Meticulous organisational ability and high attention to detail.
* Empathetic, clear, highly effective verbal and written communication.
* Solution‑oriented perspective and excellent strategic thinking.
