Health & Safety AdvisorLocation: West MidlandsSalary: Up to £65,000 + PackageCompany: Leading Groundworks & Civil Engineering ContractorAbout the CompanyA well-established and rapidly growing groundworks and civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to support projects across the West Midlands region.The business delivers a diverse range of residential, industrial, commercial, and infrastructure schemes and has built a strong reputation for quality, safety, and operational excellence.This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Health & Safety professional looking to join a respected contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work.The RoleAs Health & Safety Advisor, you will play a key role in promoting and maintaining a positive safety culture across multiple live construction sites.Working closely with operational teams, site management, subcontractors, and senior leadership, you will ensure compliance with company procedures, legislation, and industry best practices while supporting the safe delivery of projects.Key ResponsibilitiesConducting regular site inspections, audits, and safety reviews across multiple projectsMonitoring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standardsSupporting site teams with risk assessments, RAMS, and safe systems of workDelivering toolbox talks, safety briefings, and training sessionsInvestigating accidents, incidents, and near misses and implementing corrective actionsProducing detailed reports and maintaining health & safety recordsAssisting project teams in identifying and mitigating site risksSupporting subcontractor compliance and performance managementAdvising operational teams on current legislation and industry best practicePromoting a positive and proactive health & safety culture across the businessAssisting with external audits and client safety requirementsRequirementsPrevious experience as a Health & Safety Advisor within groundworks, civil engineering, or constructionStrong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation and construction site practicesExperience conducting site inspections and auditsNEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent qualificationStrong communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to work independently across multiple sitesExcellent report writing and organisational skillsFull UK driving licenceWhats on OfferSalary up to £65,000Competitive packageLong-term career progression opportunitiesDiverse portfolio of civil engineering and groundworks projectsStable and growing contractor with a strong order bookSupportive and collaborative working environmentTPBN1_UKTJ
