Job Description
The Commissioning / Project Engineer is responsible for managing the installation, commissioning, and handover of fire protection systems. The role involves supervising engineers and subcontractors, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining high technical and quality standards.
Installation & Engineering
* Act as Installation Engineer, Service Engineer, and Senior Engineer as required across projects.
* Carry out and oversee installation and commissioning of fire detection and fire protection systems.
* Provide technical support and guidance to installation teams.
Project & Site Management
* Supervise installation engineers and subcontractors on larger or complex projects.
* Liaise with site agents, main contractors, and clients to ensure site requirements are met.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, site rules, and company procedures.
* Monitor progress against project programmes and deadlines.
Commissioning & Handover
1. Supervise and carry out commissioning of systems in line with relevant standards.
